A gastro pub is a British term for a public house which specializes in high quality food a step above the more basic "pub grub". The name is a combination of pub and gastronomy and was coined in 1991 in London. The concept arose from a conscious effort to promote great food in well loved places.

Chef Michael Stiglitz (a.k.a. "Stigz") and his business partner Doug Frampton took this concept to heart when designing the menu and planning the ambiance that awaits you at the Pub. Open daily for lunch and dinner, The Pickled Pig Pub serves delicious food prepared with the freshest seasonal ingredients. A fun, casual atmosphere combined with friendly service provide for excellent dining or join us at the bar for a truly happy hour (so fun we made it two hours!)
