In the month of June, the Delaware Chamber Music Festival presents outstanding chamber music featuring both traditional and contemporary works, performed at the Music School of Delaware in Wilmington.  Under the leadership of Philadelphia Orchestra first violinist, Barbara Govatos, the Festival features of four concerts, Fridays June 14 and 21 at 7:30 p.m., and Sundays June 16 and 23 at 3:00 p.m.

The 2013 concert series includes pieces from classical music masters Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Rachmaninoff and others, as well as Delaware premiers of three contemporary works by women composers. Popular Delaware classical guitarist Christiaan Taggart will appear as guest artist, as will the Pyxis Piano Quartet, currently in residence at the Delaware Art Museum. Join us for one concert or for all four!  See you there!
